Schumacast, Episode 4: The Wiz (1978)

After The Wiz blew up on the Broadway scene, Joel Schumacher was hired to script a film adaptation of the urban fantasy spin on Dorothy's journey to the lands of Oz, which ended up becoming a very, very loose and sprawling adaptation under the supervision of director Sidney Lumet.
